The Story Begins
After much silence I have returned, on these final nights at my Texas home.
The shipping boxes are packed and we are now on air mattresses and sleeping bags.
I must say this process has gone so much more smooth then I originally anticipated.
So many curiosities swirl within my mind tonight, as synchronistic happenings abound. At the forefront of my mind: “Will there be any paranormal activity in this new home.”
To be quiet honest, I wouldn't be surprised. The home is 115 years old and in an area with higher concentration of limestone.
Limestone is said to hold memories. So one possibility might be a replay of past events. Another, could be an intelligent haunting by one of the original owners, however were that the case it would be on the gentler side. More then likely events such as smelling the scent of fresh flowers or perhaps hearing footsteps and nothing more.
I do know there was a beautiful service held there around the 1920s for the individual whom passed.
Most of all though, I know this house chose us and I am really interested in seeing what stories wait for me there.
Only 24 hours more to go and our first stretch across America will begin as we move cross country one more time.
